Mission

Statement:


The purpose of GYAA shall be to develop the ideals of good sports- manship, teamwork, self-confidence, physical fitness and enjoyment of sports through a variety of sports programs.




 


GYAA supports sport teams for soccer and basketball.  There are recreational and competitive leagues for these sports.  All youth are welcome to join recreational leagues.  The competitive leagues are for more skilled players, require a try-out and travel a greater distance for games.

GYAA is a non-profit, distinctly volunteer organization providing athletic opportunities for the youth in the towns of the Gateway Regional School District (Blandford, Chester, Huntington, Middlefield, Montgomery, Russell and Worthington).
